I love the fair

Now, that's a turkey leg!

For anyone in the area, you should totally go to the fair. Although I recommend trying to take advantage of one of these discounts. The $15 weekday admission + $8 parking is pretty steep. I'd probably be mad, if I didn't get in for free. Still, it's super, super fun. Much more fun than the OC Fair. There are acrobats, pig races, wandering performers, rides, music, people in animal suits and even more fried things than could I shake a stick at. I didn't eat nearly enough food on sticks. Next year I'll have to try pork chop on a stick or egg roll on a stick.

Unfortunately, the fried mac and cheese was a big lie, along with the smore's on a stick. Fortunately, they have the best Australian battered and fried potatoes this side of Australia. And I could have died happy when I got my blue raspberry and bubblegum snow cone that was bigger than my head. And there's still hope for my mac and cheese. There's a rather unappealing, yet delicious commercial on TV for TGI Fridays featuring fried mac and cheese nuggets. I'll bring my own stick.

The belly dancing was probably our most successful performance yet. And I made my solo debut. There aren't any pictures, but feel free to enjoy the rest of my fair album. My only regret is not taking more pics.
