Oh, how I wish these men were actually librarians. As far as library fundraising goes, this is pretty much the best.

Two professors at New Orleans’ Xavier University, are auctioning their right to drink for 2007. Donate money into the “on the wagon” fund or the keep boozing fund. Check the results here, and be sure to pay attention to the picture of the lonely book drop eyeing the drink below.

These men are trying to raise $1 million to build a new library in New Orleans.
