Web Gems
Who wants to do my homework for me?
The assignment is to post a link to your favorite information giving websites that everyone and their mother hasn't heard of. This is a rather loose definition, because, apparently, some people haven't heard of craigslist.
and www.findagrave.com seems to be very popular in the library community
I feel like all i need to do is go through some of Zack's old posts for something informative. I'll probably get to that later today.
I'm definitely posting http://www.stitchguide.com/ but please, post something a bit more meaty, or bizarre, if you know anything offhand.

Is "information giving website" just defined as a website designed to give you information you don't already have? If so, yeah, I've got you covered:
This to That is probably the best sarcastic reply you can give to the assignment. It gives gluing advice.
Bugmenot is also good under this loose definition. It gives logins and passwords.
Boingboing, Lifehacker, Cool Tools, and Tricks of the Trade all post neat stuff, but it's not by request or anything.
Everything2 is sort of a free association wikipedia.
If you really want to get sassy and piss off the teacher, Magic Teapot is a porn search engine.
I'm lazy about the URLs, but that's okay, because Google.
