That is pretty fantastic, and Kenny, at least, should love it. I think Policeman cat is my favorite.
Only thing that bugs me is having the bar named "Maurice's Place." The joker cat is called "Maurice" (by some), not random bartender cat! I think. It all gets kind of confusing with kittens.

In sequence, my four reactions to this video:
1. This is awesome. Fatboy Slim is a total hack, but the guy who directed this video and came up with the fake contest concept is a genius.
2. Wait, is this really a Fatboy Slim song? I don't remember him sucking all this much. Is ... is this just another layer of fakery? A fake contest for a video for a fake song?
2.5. No, that's probably too much.
3. I make a bet with Lydia. She believes it to be a genuine contest entry. I believe music video directors to be capable of such over-thought, high concept trickery.
4. I'll let you know after I Google this. One of us is paying 100% of the next grocery bill.

Video directed by "Jon Watts," who is a professonal director who also did FBS's previous single ("Wonderful Night").
Production company responsible for video called Waverly Films. They do commercials, music videos, and shorts.
The comments on Cute Overload include two by a "Nina" who claims to have worked on the video. She writes that the contest is faked, and also that the kittens were from shelters and all adopted after the shoot.
The bored dude next to "Jan Loscheider" in the intro *is* Fatboy Slim. I ask you: if that was a real fan, would he want to appear so bored? I say no.
I tried finding a music video version of IMDB or Mobygames, and the only thing I could find was MVBD. They also credit Jon Watts/Waverly and call the contest a fake.
Anybody else know for sure?

It is pretty impressive. The thing that I got hung up on is that the scale of everything is still a bit too small for cats. Very cute though.
I fell for the contest thing, although as the video goes on it did seem increasingly impossible that so-and-so from Ohio had these resources.
The song is not bad, just pointless and inferior to the original, and lacking what usually makes Fatboy Slim songs interesting. But I didn't mind listening to it.
I like how they leave in certain shots where you can see the human hands, like the spoon in the kitchen.

Matt, the thing is, they're kittens. Really young ones. They always look unhappy, because they're scruffy.
But if you're a kitten, being in that video is the most fun you'll ever have. Most kittens sit home alone all day, bored out of their minds, chasing their tails for fun. They don't ever get that kind of stimulation. trolleys, ducks, clothing...
I think kitten trolley may trump puppy monorail.
