Tonight I have Hanukkah/Kwanzaa story time. Complete with Kinaras made of beans and noodles, wooden dreidels for playing and marshmallow dreidels for eating. I've spend some of the last week reading up on the holidays I don't celebrate so I can convey them in a positive and learned manner. And I've spent a lot of time physically preparing everything for the crafts.
So, when I filled my gas tank for $23.50 today all I could think of was that I was being rewarded for my efforts. Maybe the fuel won't last longer than it should, but my money certainly will. I might just have some fried potatoes for dinner, to honor the miracle.
